Yoga Train is a deck of 60 cards illustrating yoga poses and their literal meaning. I designed the deck during my 10 months Yoga Teacher Training to help me learn the postures and make sequencing simpler and accessible for me and my peers.
The cards are color-coded according to the Asana (posture) family or type, in order to help the yoga practitioners create their own sequence and practice at home. The simple illustrations with the plain colors bring focus to the essence of each pose. In addition, the name of the pose is printed in Sanskrit and English to support learning the Sanskrit names of the postures which is the original language used to practice Yoga for thousands of years.
Yoga Train was successfully funded on Kickstarter, then produced in Dublin, Ireland.
Now it is sold online on Etsy and in selected shops and Yoga studios.

After finishing my Yoga Training and having some experience teaching yoga, I gave sequencing workshops for people who wanted to practice yoga at home without the distraction of an app or video. The Yoga Train cards were very helpful.
