“aktuell” is a bilingual magazine funded by the Senate in Berlin since 1970 sharing information about Berlin. It is written in German and English and sent to former residents of Berlin who were persecuted and forced to emigrate during the National Socialist era.

The layout design of the magazine is simple, using the Berlin Corporate Design as a base for the font and colors. Before I designed this issue, I had the chance to make a layout refresh and make some changes to the previous layout while maintaining familiarity for the readers.
